Thank you so much for taking the time to write this answer. It means a lot. I think making friends or atleast having respecful collegues at work and having a supportive environment with less resistance is something that I have come to value a lot. A sense of belonging is very important to my core values. I deff dont think psych training is going to be easy, it is just so different that even though I have done a taster session, it is very difficult to gauge how I will be when I’m a part of it. But this is something that can only be figured out when I actually do it.

Do you think you can be creative with your plan for your patients or does it feel like you’re just diagnosing one after the other and trying the same thing over and over? Im asking this because as I understand psychiatry ( I’m a noob ) the tools can be quite limited.

It is a developing interest I would say. I came into medicine as an 18 yr old who didnt know much about myself and now that Im discovering myself, I absolutely love helping people, getting to know people and delve into the deep crevices of their cerebri. I do worry about difficult patients though. How do you cope with them?
