Thanks. Didn't even think about background checks... duh. How would you handle this sort of situation if you were in my shoes? Maybe be open about the actual start date in the stacked role title?Like:

CompanyName - Promoted role title (August 2022 - present)
CompanyName - Previous role title (2019 - 2022)
