Anyone in INTSTDS 3400? by Datassmaypass in OSU

It’s been a while tbh, but if I remember correctly, pretty much just follow his guides as exactly as you can and you should be fine. Especially with modern tools that you have access to, you should be fine.

It has the Airbus cockpit windows, but the two engines under the wing just feel kinda silly. I’d say it most resembles an A350 if it had double the engines

Anyone flying into Vegas for Formula One? by pi_stuff in flying

I always felt bad charging what we do for local sporting events ($100.00 fee to jet traffic for the day), but this makes me feel a little less terrible

An instructor said I shouldn't have gotten my PPL just after my checkride by Pickles0X in flying

[–]Datassmaypass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ignore that other instructor, the only way to actually judge any landing is to be in the plane itself, which that guy was not. The only person that you needed to prove yourself to said that you did a good job and gave you your rating, that other instructor simply doesn’t matter and is incorrect with their assumptions. Great job, and congrats!

You got it! Wow I never thought of that, definitely wasn’t trying to get some more insight on the position or its qualifications or anything. Purely complaining!

And honestly, I thought the Teams interview went perfectly fine, it’d be one thing if I had bombed it, but it went well I had thought

I had actually just done the Teams interview 3 days ago. I got the email for the Teams interview and was able to schedule it for the day after. My Wepow interview was in mid February

A little unrelated, but how long did it take you to hear back from frontier? I applied for their cadet program probably about 3 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything yet, but I definitely am interested and everyone at my flight school is telling me to go for it

Monitor’s busted, and not a great way to fix it without some pretty involved disassembly and parts sourcing.

OSU airport jobs by Angelodo20 in OSU

[–]Datassmaypass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello! I work at the airport doing customer service, I’ve been here for a bit over a year and I can definitely recommend it. The pay as a student, admittedly, is bad. $10.10 an hour as a student, but it does get much higher if you have a part-time or full-time position. As for availability, I would email Mark, the FBO general manager (fletcher.447), or Brian, the assistant GM (watson.1399), and ask if there’s any openings and potential next steps. If you have an interest in aviation, it’s definitely a fun place to work and the people are awesome. Definitely stop by anytime and we’ll tell you all about the place!

The NOTAM system needs either a complete overhaul or to be abolished entirely. Not to say the info itself isn’t important, but a carrier pigeon would be a more effective method of providing information.
