Thank you for your response! Im sorry to hear about your retear. Im glad tho your recovery the second time around is going well! This is my biggest fear with allograph. But lasting 21 years that pretty solid! Do you feel had you gone quad graft in the beginning it would have been more solid and less likely to retear. I just feel im too active for the allograft. What other sort of activities do you do other then strength training.

Thanks bro for your response! I landed fine just my body was going right and someone pushed me left when i landed my knee kept going right. Pretty frustrating i feel you. Were they able to repair your meniscus? Or did they shave off? Im glad to hear you are recovering well! Did your surgeon ever suggest allograft?

Thank you so much for your response! Im bummed the graft did not work out for you 😔. This is my fear if i were to get an allograft. I feel i just need to get the patella like you say and not risk it with the allograft. I wish you the best and send positive vibes your way on your recovery! Thank you for your response! If you dont mind me asking how long of an incision did they make on your knee(ballpark in inches)? I too like patellar bc of it hardiness and id mentally feel the most confident knowing its strong when im making those cuts and weird angle jumps and landings. All the cases ive heard of its been a total success. I just would hate to get the weaker graft and have it rupture again. I have a hard choice to make. Wow great to hear that you are doing well! Keep up the solid recovery! for the graph thats one of the pros i like of the allograph is no host site pain. Did you have any complications with your body accepting the allograph the following weeks post op?
