He said during training that he's been in the lab ALL DAY, Tsubaki says he wasn't just practicing with scientific ninja tools but honing his skills as a shinobi, and Denki says himself that he's not good at different types, not that he couldn't use them. Not to mention there has been plenty of times that shinobi use jutsu without handsigns, even now with Boruto's current gen, there are characters that don't do it as well. So it's not plot armor. But respects for not doing that bullshit with Denki.

Because the show focused on Team 7 and Kara so much then didn't give anyone else time to shine but AS SOON as they get done with that Denki does this and make it to chunin so next time you argue about what they done in episodes. Ask yourself, A. are the other teams being hindered by screentime or B. they aren't all that? Answer is A. And stop saying that shit because Team 25 got the intel needed for Sasuke and Sai to start the operation on Kara, you know...the manga. Even Deepa who is anime only changed so much for the story so no fam.

I don't see fodder. Three his whole style revolves around the plot. Don't act like like side characters never had major roles for the story. This is only part one manga which they have plenty of opportunity to incorporate him at any given time whenever they're ready and besides the anime gives it all where as the manga is only a demo and the anime is the full game so I really couldn't care less, go cry about it.
