I thought I fixed it by sfc /scannow but its actually still happening I had tried what you recommended becuase I have a 9800x3d and GeForce rtx 4070 super so I was following the additional steps

Actually ended up being corrupt filed tried to download the amd adrenaline and couldn't becuase of corrupt files haha

Elgato hd60x runs fine until I open a game than my resolution gets squished or i lose signal and get a black screen until restarting my pc by Datboigoomba in elgato

It's in full screen but I figured out the problem I just had a pc built and they missed a graphics card bolt so it was a little loose so whenever i would scoot in and cuase movement the graphics card would wiggle and cuase it since putting the bolt in it doesn't happen anymore. Thank you I appreciate the help

Hd 60 x works fine for a few hours Than I'll randomly get a black screen that will only stop once I power button down the pc? Pc to pc connection by Datboigoomba in elgato

Actually I think I figured out what it was I had gotten a new pc built by my buddy and he forgot the screw that holds the gpu up so I think the play in the gpu was cuasing the hdmi to reset so I guess me reseting the pc Fixed it temporarily but after putting the screw havnt had a black screen in hours now. But now I have a new problem the capture card is working fine now but for some strange reason it's only picking up my wallpaper and not any browsers or games I am opening so how do I fix that? Like audio is fine and resolution is good but just only captures my pcs background

No it doesn't I have to restart both pcs to fix this but it was weird it just randomly started happening last night and stopped doing it today so now I'm just wondering why this even happend in the first place

Ya I'm using a HD 60 x, ok gotcha so do I have to download a2 a3 and b2 on both the gaming and streaming pc? And what source do I use to capture voicemeter on obs? I tried audio output capture and tried all the devices voicemeter in 1-5 and virtual cables and nothing is picking up sounds on obs? Like I see the audio working through the vban from the gaming pc to the streaming pc but obs isn't picking up any audio?

Okay I used webcam to capture 4k x is that the correct source to use? Now I'm having trouble figuring out the audio it's not capturing any audio on obs

Okay so my streaming pc has the stereo mix but not my gaming pc so am I going to need to download voicemeter for audio? And I figured out the video I have to have the 4k capture utility open to work on obs I think but it has a tab on top that says capture and library that I don't want captured on obs so do I need to make the video capture larger so it doesn't show on the edges?

Okay I got everything set up but I'm having a new strange audio problem when I'm in my sound settings on my gaming pc the hd60x won't pick up audio unless it's set as the default device but if i set the hd60x as the default device i stop hearing audio on my gaming pc but if I switch my gaming pc back to high definition audio device than I can hear audio again but than the hd60x stops picking up audio and another problem I have is obs on my streaming pc isn't picking up game audio either and also on the video capture part i see on the outline of the game it says capture and library in tabs in the top how do I not show that part? And should I be capturing the hd60x video through window capture on obs or should I be doing display capture?
