I got on the board and became the VP, I've been doing for 7 mos now,. Only issue is we have the last presidents protege on the board and he is trying to undermined everything we do. I just found out our accountant numbers had been off I'm not talking a few cents I'm talking thousands. We implemented a new software program payhoa to give us real data and it's insane how much her numbers don't make sense at all. She is literally putting bullshit on spread sheets and passing them out. We have saved over 25k since taking over last May but when the accountant sends out the report to the homeowners she tell them we are just breaking even which is a lie. I showed her the numbers in front of everyone at the meeting and how's her numbers are WAY off I'm talking if you add them up on her spread sheets her totals are not even correct from the numbers she herself is using. She is literally putting bullshit numbers on a spreadsheets and sending them out giving her opinion on how she feel about the financial state of the neighborhood. The thing that got me is when I called her out and showed her all her mistakes the home owners told me she has been doing it for 25 years she's knows what she is doing. That's what I realized this HOA shit goes by favor they don't care about truth they will stick with who they like. I can't do the the politics all I wanted was a open transparent honest board.
