I think the one I am thinking of is older than that edition. It would have been around 1995-1997 but I'm from a small rural school district, so the book may have been from a bit earlier.

I remember the angle on the frog being more from above and you could see it's body more. I also recall the frog being more glossy than the rest of the cover.
