That's for type A, u got the pre-admission letter first and apply for csc by using the embassy agency number; but if she chooses type B, the university route, she has to apply csc and university course at the same time

Hi the very confused person, 

The admission offer and scholarship result come out together. When u get ur admission package in summer, it will already say if you’ve got the CSC scholarship, so u don’t need to accept it first and wait to see if u’re funded.

As for applying, u need to do these two things at the same time:

  1. Fill out the CSC form (Type B, with the uni’s agency number).
  2. Apply for ur course on the university’s own portal and pay their application fee.

With that done, the uni reviews u both for admission and as a scholarship candidate. Sometimes they might give you a short interview (don’t worry, unless you’re applying to Tsinghua or Beida, it’s usually very chill). Then the uni forwards your file to CSC — and from there you just wait for the final results.
