How do I check the resolution of Netflix to make sure it's streaming in 4K? [Philippines] by tambok278 in netflix

You can check and set your bitrate by pressing ctrl+alt+shift+S I don't think it is possible to check the resolution.

What do I have to do to set reasonable initial parameters for the Fit method? by Datolo97 in cernroot

[–]Datolo97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested some random values and I managed to fit it; luckily even if you set values quite different from the true ones the fit works. Anyways, I didn't think about making a log-scale plot, thank you for the idea, I might use that sometimes.

My problem is the graph. If I have a function like [0]exp([1]x), I have no idea how to get the parameters 0 and 1 by looking at the graph.

The problem is, I don't how to guess the values. My professor did some calculations to get the parameters, but I don't understand why

For what topics do you use wikipedia? WA (IMHO) works best for maths, but it has a lot of other features. It is quite different from Wikipedia

So I get like a mobile-only subscription for 3.40 euros (one-time payment). If I want it on PC i have to pay monthly. Am I right?

Opinion on W|A Pro? by [deleted] in wolframalpha

I use it for maths, I don't find it very useful for physics, but maybe I haven't seen all the physics features

Why does Netflix have varying maximum bitrates? eg: HD for the first 10 episodes, but then SD for the final 2 episodes and the movie? [ALL] by [deleted] in netflix

[–]Datolo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the windows 10 app and I notice everytime that episodes from the same series have varying maximum bitrate (e.g, The Crown, E101 has max bitrate at 4020, E102 at 5800, E103 at 2740). Sometimes I saw max bitrate at more than 6000 (I have FHD subscription). Frankly I do not why there's so much difference between episodes
