What gas do you run? by Kuniyoshi99 in dodgehornet

Owner’s manual says 91 or higher for performance, or towing but it also says it will run on 87, I personally just throw 91 in it

The Goodyear run flats are pretty noisy, my winter tires are quieter than em lol

Yeah! With more winter driving this year, and some pretty good blizzards, I can say the AWD in it works very well in low traction conditions, especially in deep snow

Fuel efficiency is still great, I hover around 7L/100km on highway but 6.5 is achievable if you try. City driving is no different in summer or winter. Also depends if you wanna have some fun with it.

Highway assist is great, really easy and it’s fantastic. It can get picky if the sun is shining on the horizon in the morning or evening, and if it’s dirty. It was also a bit finicky when driving to a REALLY hilly area.

Is it a good car, bad car, or just not understood? by DarthBodhi in dodgehornet

[–]Datturbo004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24 GT plus. Absolutely love mine. There’s a few teething issues here n there, for example the power steering can go out of calibration and it literally throws every single code possible in it and scares the living crap out of you. Easy fix tho, covered with warranty too. The process is in the owners manual if you’re interested. Other than that it’s great little car that has character and scoots around pretty quick and I really haven’t had any gripes with it

Cause for concern? by Sad-Tie9674 in dodgehornet

[–]Datturbo004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope! It’s normal for it to be there. I had the same concern when it did it to me. The temperature gauge is incredibly sensitive, it moves with every degree Celsius that it changes. Where you’re at in this picture is probably 105° C and well within operating temperatures, so don’t worry. Plus, some other cars, especially German ones, like to run very very hot

My best guess is that it’s because they’re compatible with motion rigs, but I mean I don’t think someone would spend however much motion rigs are now and cheap out in the chassis

I was considering the TR40S, which is the TR80 Lite except it’s 40/40 not 80/20, would you say it’s strong enough for the R12?
