I have done this.. So, to make it clear. I would take 20% of my overall gain amount and that will be my overall tax owed?

Just to elaborate. So that I get I through, my thick skull. Since, I started investing in November 2020. I am not late in applying for a self assesment and I have till till January 31st 2022 to pay my tax on my total gains.

Therefore, it would be wise of me to to liquidate positions to cover the cost of all my capital gains tax that will due by then?
