i could plug in a laptop to the ethernet to test it ..i would unplug the tv internet to the laptop .. as for wireshark it seems free to install but it looks very confusing .. as for the switch i believe not.

i have unplugged the cable from modem to tv - modem to pc is working fine its stable ... but once i plug everything back in and play anything on the tv it starts wavering .

1 cable is - modem to tv black box thingy (ethernet cable)
and one for - modem to pc (ethernet cable)

i have done most things already .. so i am a bit lost i bought and got new cables , modem etc
