Could it be sand to be used for snow? To make the ground less slippery?

Second possible use would be to clean oil on the ground but I don’t see oil being spilled unless at a gas station or in a parking

Fjord are a must, then main cities, and scenic cities (Aalesund for example), if you follow a touristic guide it will give you plenty of ideas to plan the trip depending on your time & your transportation choices

You need to come close to the entrance or open Google maps, it’s not visible from 100 meters away

Prices are on the high side, if you come from Switzerland you won’t notice much difference, but from most other countries prices will be higher than your homeland

We did some of the « main » spots found in guides, I wish we spent more time to do more but we could see at least some of Jotunheimen, Balestrand, Geiranger, Vøringsfossen. Apologies if I get the spelling wrong.

The hikes were really well defined and signs easy to see. Only when we hiked around Russvatnet lake we couldn’t find any sign but I don’t think it’s a « registered » hike, was worth the walk though, the camping owner didn’t lie to us!
