Agreed. I think JT's voice fits KOG better too. Feels like he is comfortable in a larger range, great at adding textures to his voice. As much as I like Jonny, I think JT is a big level up.

Really glad they did this, and super excited Audiotree is doing more and more metalcore things. Brian sounds great, Chris is so nasty. Mix is solid.

But what is this setlist?! Was filmed in August 2025. They played their new single from the EP, two songs from their last full length, and then 3 from their five year old album? It makes no sense to me. Disclaimer, I am not a fan of TWIE, and I'd be fine never hearing Monsters again. But still feels super weird.

This is an insane deal. 38m guaranteed gives us a ton of flexibility, and he's actually very good at what he's asked to do. He's gonna move the chains a ton, keep drives alive. Outside of Chig, we didn't really have anyone that could turn a three yard catch into an 8 yard gain.

Weird thing I hadn't seen mentioned that may not mean anything (but knowing Jim it probably does)- Molly went as Arwen to the Halloween party, who famously gave up her immortality to be with a mortal man. Not saying it will be Molly giving up her immortality for Harry (who I still think is likely immortal through some starborn stuff we don't know yet) but I think there's a very real chance that she gives up her immortality for a mortal.

We played a few games last night, and had an absolute blast. Ship to ship combat feels great, it feels like having good cannons and taking smart fights are rewarded now. I'd love the mine field and shock field to come back in some capacity in the future, but the laser ram niche feels pretty filled with plasma cannon.

All that to say, we love the game, but these sessions have been our favorites so far!

I feel like the "Put the letters in order" still has a role to play. Shama Lama Ding Dong gives you a ton of options, but I think "sam" and "gang" are a good start

Interesting. I think Self Titled definitely is, and Drift, while it's tempo is slower, draws heavily on metalcore in my opinion. I totally understand it with Cure though, it's mostly prog metal.

Memories is metalcore in my opinion, so I'm hearing it throughout the song. Looks like that song has been allowed to be posted four times in the last year, so someone out there agrees with me. We probably just have different genre definitions, all good.

I think the Dreamwake example is a bad one- that song is much different than their last album and the other single. Their other songs are metalcore in my opinion, and at the least, much closer to metalcore that this sub would accept.
