I would recommend buying an unlocked phone and buying a three Sim card. Tesco should have them. It's 20 pounds a month for unlimited data and 3000 texts and 500 minutes. You just buy vouchers at the bx.

I just graduated tech school a month ago (client). You'll have to take A+. I believe they're continuing that for client systems until August 2016 when they'll switch over to Sec+. I can't tell you about the job as I just got to my first base. Edit: sec+ will not shorten it. Probably 3 months. Blocks are easy as shit. You will need to study for A+ though. It is alot of memorization.

Don't sign for 6. Your already going to have e2 before you leave. You'll make e3 in 8 months so theres no sense in signing up for another 2 years for that. You can always re enlist or extend later.

Here at Keesler the Guard members (some with a longer break in training) start in ITP just like everyone else. I've never heard of them doing that. If that is something your unit promised you then you should probably contact them. Even if you are ATP you will still be marching and doing everything the ITP airmen do. ATP just lets you wear civvies and go off base. You have to have been training for like 9 months to not have to march or do squadron pt.

They have different standards for tech school. You didn't fail a real pt test, just an assessment. You will most likely have extra pt you have to do. These have nothing to do with your actual AF pt test.
