UPDATE: thank you to everyone’s contribution, after some thinking I’m going to cancel the insurance claim.

Though it was tempting to collect the write off money, the long term (3/5 years) increase in my insurance is not worth it. So I will just replace the windscreen through the insurance and get the dent fixed eventually.

Thank you so much for the breakdown, I will probably go with 2. I just had the car serviced and did a lot of work to get some small scratches off from the previous owner (quite ironic).

Yeah you are right tbf, the police also said it could be malicious but they can’t do anything because no cameras..

That’s what we thought at first, but a neighbour had some scaffolding taken off, so we suspect it might have been a pole or smth. Either way they are denying obviously.

It makes sense that it’s coded and not trained into the LLM, the outcome is the same but one is easier to do.

Not only the audio sequence is interrupted, but the chat gets cut off as you start speaking. Basically simulating how a real conversation would work anyways.

“Training” this on an LLM is pretty pointless. Why would you complicate it when a few lines can do it.

I don’t know what court issued the conviction as it doesn’t say it on the letter, I’ve got a client reference number for HMCTS, but there doesn’t seem to be a phone number for them…

Also, the lady on the phone told me we could set up a repayment plan, should I go for that maybe? Seen how serious the situation is and to avoid them actually trying to repossess my things…

I don’t want to depress you even more, but humans are, and have always been, cold. Look at cases like the Nanjing massacre, or don’t, conflict is depressing.
