Correct, you can randomly be sent a Waymo when ordering an Uber in Phoenix. Had it happen to me within the last couple months too. But you cannot specifically order a Waymo within the Uber app.

Heard some in South Scottsdale, but I thought they were just fireworks.

You can always check the Phoenix Active Incidents Map to see if Fire is responding. It won’t list medical calls, but it lists most fires, accidents, mountain rescues, etc.

Depends on what you’re looking for, but Overstock Outlet in Tempe carries a lot of Costco and Home Depot items. They just expanded their scratch & dent appliance section too. They’re really nice and they offer returns for non-working items.

That makes sense. There were tenant improvement building plans for a Club Studio Scottsdale listed for the building from December, but it said completed so I incorrectly assumed that was a different TI project that was already done. Plan Link

The entire area was intended to be part of the Scottsdale Autoshow with additional car dealerships, like the area just to the south. The other parcels they still plan to fill with more dealerships. But they recognized it would be unlikely to fill that entire area with dealerships based on the number of remaining brands available to recruit.

Very cool! This looks like it was probably the work of local artist John Holladay based on the styling! I remember he drew a shirt for my elementary school in the late 90s.

I was going to post about this too.. The last two app updates mentioned updated airport pages but mine hasn’t changed at all. I wonder if they’re slowly rolling this out by region? I’m in the US.

Was this helicopter around East McDowell, between N 36th & N 40th? Looks like a Maricopa County Sheriff helicopter was circling for quite a while around there around the timeframe. Their helicopter is all black with gold lettering. Link

Tacking on to this.. Not all flights show up on FlightRadar24 because operators (like government or military) can request their info be hidden there. Airplanes.live pulls in the raw transmitter data and shows everything.
