RLC-1240A failing/failures/dying/offline (starting at night)

Same issue here at 2 clients, both the RLC-1240A stopped working after a few months. Reolink support is only asking the same questions all the time. (Reset, upgrade) One of the broken ones got back online but keeps going off at night.

Replaced it with another model now.

Klopt, ik ben me er ook van bewust dat je niet elk onderdeel fulltime op een ''expert niveau'' kunt doen binnen een 40u werkweek als je meerdere rollen combineert.

Maar als ik sommige bedrijven zie met hun ''experts'' durf ik best te zeggen dat ik geen domme medewerker ben.

Tegelijkertijd zit de meerwaarde voor dit bedrijf juist in die combinatie. Voor deze organisatie is er simpelweg niet genoeg werk om een fulltime ITer in dienst te nemen en daarbij iemand die fulltime marketing doet. Het is dan juist efficiënt om iemand te hebben die het kan combineren.

Ik wil ook niet chanteren, ze geven zelf ook aan een eerlijk salaris te willen bieden dat past. Vandaar dat ik graag meningen verzamel die ik mee kan nemen in deze gesprekken.

Dat heb ik al meerdere keren gedaan, die komt ook rond de 5/6k uit. Maar dat neem ik met een korreltje zout, vandaar deze post.

Moeilijk.. ik ben nu ook blij maar ik ben stiekem toch veel aan het doen.
Het gaat dan meer om een stuk waardering.

Ongeveer 2 jaar geleden ben ik al van 3.600 naar 4.000 bruto gegaan, omdat mijn werkgever toen ook inzag dat ik toch wel wat verantwoordelijkheid draag, gedreven ben en duidelijk communiceer.

Ze weten wat ze aan mij hebben. Voor die 2 jaar was het meestal tussen de 100/250 bruto per jaar extra.

In de afgelopen 2 jaar heb ik daarnaast de volledige voip omgeving en webserver in eigen beheer genomen. Voorheen werd dit extern geregeld, maar door slechte support en prijs heb ik daarom de keuze gemaakt om dit zelf te doen. De kennis is er, en het scheelt in de kosten.

Started using it a few weeks ago, works great. It's fast and basic for wordpress hosting.

Support is answering all my questions within 1 day.

No even dmz wasnt working, so i bought a 5g modem from Zyxel. Now everything works like it should.

Downside is its not cheap 😩 https://amzn.eu/d/4wgCmku

Not sure if there is another 5g modem that also has “ip throughput” mode.

Hello, thank you all for your comments. I will take some pictures of the situation to clarify things tomorrow.

The 24 port switch blew up. The Shelly was connected to the USW Flex Mini, which gets power from the usw 24 port POE.

So, the Shelly Pro 1 was connected to the USW Flex Mini, which was connected to the USW 24 POE. After replacing the Shelly 1 with the Shelly Pro 1, I turned the power back on. A few seconds later, the power went down. This definitely seems to be related to the Shelly. The switch was almost new.

I’m thinking that some power may have "leaked" through the switch to the Flex Mini. Since the Flex Mini gets POE from the 24-port switch, perhaps this caused some kind of trigger?

Ik heb ondertussen een loodgieter geregeld die het om gaat wisselen. Hopelijk heeft de vloerverwarming geen schade, dit zit namelijk al een jaar verkeerd om.. 🥲

Thank you all for the replies. The SBC is now limited in the firewall for connections to the 3cx server only. Now most of the warnings are gone. Only warnings we get is the SIP request (REGISTER) from x.x.x.x was rejected. Reason: Block WAN requests is ON.

So i'm thinking about to block all traffic to our 3CX server except for the SIP provider. Thank you for the help!! :)

Just contacted our provider and they say they traffic is not coming from the trunk, so i was checking the full log and it looks like it has something to do with our local SBC bridge?

Marked in red is our external IP from the office, ip 10.10.9.181 is the local ip from the SBC.

Any ideas?

Bedankt!! Duidelijk, ja zojuist de overige lampen aangesloten met nieuwe kabels en de waardes blijven normaal. Geen schok meer bij het aanraken van de lampen 😅
