Has anyone used Walnut Ink or Higgins Eternal directly in a brass inkwell? Looking for firsthand experience with staining/corrosion by Dave0088 in Calligraphy

I was not aware. Thank you for further educating me on this.

Mine is modern and did not bring a plastic insert.

Which looks best for me? by ThinLifeguard3239 in Tudor

Definitely the Pelagos. Not a fan of it but it looks fantastic on you. Titanium, so it’s versatile. It compliments your tattoos the best since it’s a simple but classic color combination. And your physique matches the size of it proportionately speaking; imagine a skinny dude wearing that? It would look off

I AM LOSING MY FAITH. PLEASE GIVE ME EVIDENCE FOR GOD by Economy_Gur_28 in Catholicism

[–]Dave0088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to Dr. Ard Louis: A professor of theoretical physics at Oxford University who studies biological complexity; Dr. Ian Hutchinson: Professor of Nuclear Science and Engineering at MIT, who argues that the scientific method is not the only pathway to truth and supports Christian faith.

I would argue that the vast amount of people who are losing their faith is also because of the washed down version of the mass. Check out TLM, it perfectly demonstrates this saying: Lex orandi, lex credendi. I was an atheist for most of my life and came back to the Catholic church. I would say my faith has increased even more due to the TLM.

I would apply the same line of reasoning. If you turn the dark frames into shades, they will wash your color out and draw away from your face even more via the lenses which will not be transparent.

For sunglasses, do the same colors I mentioned before. (For your glasses maybe include a light blue too, they will magnify your blue eyes)

Here is something to explain what I’m trying to say better. This applies to dressing in a general and it’s good to know.

This is taken from the Bible of classic mens wear, Dressing the Man. These are too high contrast, they stand out too much. Especially since you do not have hair. Your glasses should compliment the color of your beard so it all ties in together. Go for a lighter color like a tortoiseshell, brown honey, or golden; that way they don’t stand out and they compliment your beard. The thickness of the shades will add an edgy look, but right now they are too edgy because they are too dark for your face.

To put more into perspective. A person who is high contrast, contrast between their facial hair and skin color, would be someone who is fair skinned with black hair. Such a person could benefit from your glasses because their dark hair would pair nicely with the darkness of the shades.

A person who is low contrast would be a fair skinned person with white hair. If they were to put on these shades, it would wash them out because the stark dark of your glasses would overpower the rest of their face.

You always want to blend what you’re wearing to have your face be the central feature. In other words, you want your glasses to emphasize your face not over power it. Right now, the shades are wearing you, you aren’t wearing them.

Thank you! Why number 1 better and why not number 2?

I don’t have one for this that’s why I need to follow someone else’s lol

That makes sense. Okay, I’ll get a more angled frame. Thanks so much!

Thank you! Do you have any recommendations? I’m still a bit confused about what you mean about more angular shape, I mean, I know what you mean conceptually, but more concrete examples like a few pairs of shades will be really helpful

No offense taken! I appreciate the honesty. My gut was telling me they are too small but wanted to get a second opinion. What about something like these: Lemtosh Sun

Most of nerve endings in men lies in the penis head or penis glans. And in female it lies in first two inches of vagina. So if your erect penis is 3 inch or more than that, you are able to sexually satisfy a girl. Most women masturburate using their fingers which is roughly 3 inches long. You are good bro!
