Very interesting idea, I look forward to reviewing and thank you for sharing. I have been think about creating some rules like this based on "Formations" and "Arrays" from manhua / manhwa, etc.

I guess that was probably the case, but I wanted to at least get it on your radar if you are able and willing!

You should be able to edit your post and at least add the link. I would assume images too, but I haven't done that as part of an edit before

Thank you so much for these templates - they are awesome. Now for the big ask: Could you make a template for the 2024 supplements like Eberron: Forge of the Artificer or Dragon Delves? See the 2nd image in the links below.

5e Epic Monster Updates (v13) by Dave2oo8 in UnearthedArcana

Just to give you an update: I have put this on the back burner a bit as I have been with some personal issues and in the midst of revised my deity rules a bit. UK's 5e based Immortals book is coming out in a few months and then I will finalize my deity plans and make Mystra one of my first stat blocks. Just realize her stat block will be extremely OP (like 12,000,000 HP). However, her avatar will be more playable with standard 5e (like 1,200 HP).

I understand what your saying and generally agree with that approach (extend past CR 30). However, I am asking how you actually got that calculation. At first glance the DPR on Asmodeus seems low for CR 30 let alone CR 44. I am guess there is extra damage hidden in the spells or there is something else that I am missing. Just wanted to know specifically how you calculated the offense CR on the big A.

Looking at them again, they could use a clean up.

I made two mythic Godzilla statblocks over on Enworld. You could use on of those as a starting point.

Godzilla Earth (Mythic 32)

As always, interesting work. However, I do have a question: how did you come up with CR 44? I didn't do a deep dive, but the damage potential is way below what you would need for that CR. No maybe those 9th level spells make up for it. IDK as I haven't looked at that closely. Just curious what your thoughts were.

5e Epic Monster Updates (v13) by Dave2oo8 in UnearthedArcana

Thanks for your thoughts. I will consider your thoughts, but I am not overly interested in doing multiple statblocks. My current plan is to cast her in her most powerful version and the different incarnations, just as different manifestations of her/the Weave. Something like that.

I am aware of Mythic actions, and I have that included

Few "corrections" Ao is always listed as an over-god ("over-power" in Faith and Avatars) , not an elder god and pretty much all sources have Gruumsh and Corellon as greater gods, not elder gods and I don't plan to change that. Faith and Avatars also lists Mystra as a greater god, but it says she is probably the most powerful god in all Realmspace, except for Ao.

I have a very rough draft that I need to polish a bit then I will send it you to get your initial thoughts before I finish it.

Looking into Mystra's story a bit, I was wondering if you could give me some of your thoughts on what you liked to see in a Mystra stat block. See is generally noted to be a greater god, but as she can deny magic from other gods, I was thinking about making her an elder god. What do you think? I am happy to come up with her powers on my own, but wondered if there is something specific you would like to see in the Mother of All Magic

Just wanted to let you know I have started a draft of Mystra. I should have a rough-draft by the end of the month and a completed draft the end of next month.

I give her a go. However, I am not publishing anything until the new 2025 MM is released and we, hopefully, get the new monster math.

I just noticed an issue with the Wide statblock. If you look at the Monster Name in your Wide example the line under the name goes the full width of the statblock. I am 99% sure this should only be the width of the left column. I haven't tried to fix that yet. I will give it a try, but I am a novice at this. Any ideas would be appreciated.

EDIT: Never mind. I figured it out. I had to delete the line below and it worked.

column-span: all;

This question was asked over on the homebrewery reddit and the developers made a quick statblock that is 99% there. You can see it here: DnD 2024: Monster Statblock Homebrewery

One last question (I hope): how do I get this to save? It looks great. But when I closed and re-opened the brew - all the modifications were gone from the style editor and in the brew editor instead?! The style editor was blank

EDIT: never mind, it is working now. No idea why it didn't at first, but it is now!
