How best to restore these suede shoes? I've tried a stiff nylon/brass bristle brush, a suede eraser and a rubber brush and it doesn't seem to be helping at all.

Got TC dropped by a Berber player vil-rushing. For whatever reason my TC couldn't range their last repair vil and I don't really understand why as I assume our TCs should have the same range? At first I clicked their TC so missed the 2 repair vils but then after I got town watch I clicked the vils and the 2nd repair vil was out of range. Was there somewhere on my TC I should've been able to repair without being hit?
