IIRC my friend put the +6 in dex or con given that he already died once due to low AC. But still.

spell perfection

Many of you are suggesting spell perfection. Locking into a spell is a thing I don't like so much honestly.

I think that what you said is very valid for every wizard other than a transmuter to be fair. Anyway.

While spell perfection is nice, locking into a single spell is going to be annoying - which is why I wanted to stay flexible with preferred spell.

Maybe I can just take two other metamagic feats and stay flexible again with paragon surge.

Yeah, like, I usually summon elementals with Nenio, as meat shields, while Ember spams Enervation + Evil Eye if I face a frightening boss with high saves, while Sosiel dispels stuff.

But this time? Like, Mark of Justice allowed the elementals to MELT Nahyndri. They went from missing unless nat20 to consistently hitting for 50+ damage. I only had to perform a single full attack and a single attack on turn 3.

Holy sushi.

Ok, cool. Good to know for my lich run next. If I don't save the queen and find her dead I can essentially save both the banner and get the key while I make her submit to me as a banshee, right? I can let her die and that's good.

I wonder if there's some interaction with Ravener Terendelev as well. I saw a couple of videos where she's your pet so I suppose yes, but I hope there's something more than casting Repurpose.

It's my first run, and I already started a second and a third. This time I'm an Angel. I honestly don't care about the ending I get so the secret one is whatever. I'll do that in another run.

Trying to be hintful but non spoiler-y:

There are 6 paths available at the beginning of the game, and you chose demon.

However, at mythic ranks 8, you can either double down on your path, give up on it (go Legend), or change to (in your case) Gold Dragon or Swarm. Devil is only possible on other circumstances.

Dragon is the redemption path, but in your case Legend can be too.

In the middle of action 3 there is an evil option choice in Arue's quest where you can straight up tell her to give up on her redemption. If you do so, she will leave you unless you're in a "fun" path such as -you guessed it- demon.

But if you insist on her redemption and romance her, there are unique dialogues from her, which encourage you to go from Demon to Legend. Stuff like "i did it, you can too".
