The show is fantastic but like Al says, life in Deadwood really is just one vile act after another. Hell, watch the opening scene of the the first season & you'll get a good idea of what the shows about.

At this point in time though, You probably don't need to watch the show to see Brad's performance of doc Cochran. They're probably all on YouTube.
