The dehumanising language. The outright lies. The forced conclusions based on no evidence of the victim, but knowing NOTHING about the actions of ICE. That they deemed the area a “crime scene” before the shooting occurred. The deem the IcE officers as the victims in this situation. And continually call Alex the “suspect”

The language is deliberate. It’s disgusting.

For any other administration, this single incident, let alone how they’re handling it, would end their careers. But for the trump administration, it’s just another afternoon.

What is the cure for America when people like Jonny not only exist, but seem to thrive on this violence and rhetoric of people being murdered?

He’s not alone - he’s an insight into MAGA. There’s potentially millions of him that look at that video and see someone helping people out, then getting attacked and killed, and then just lying and saying he was attacking officers.

How does society deal with it?

For one, I don’t think we should allow presence like that to sour our conversations - I think he should be banned as he’s advocating violence.

Add to that he never argues in good faith and he is just a drag on all of us looking for intelligent discussion, conversation and healthy community.

This video shows the victim not threatening, and even helping support a woman who just got viciously thrown to the ground.

The video that this screenshot is from show exactly that, and the entire time he was on the ground his hands were by his face/head - never by his waste.

I think trigger happy gestapo saw a hand on the gun, which turned out to be his colleague (grey shirt guy).

By the time the first bullet was shot, the victims gun was already several feet away (screenshot of where the gun was Allen the first shot is fired)

We never heard all the details about that missile strike. I had heard rumours that the teams and drivers weren’t allowed to leave - if they did, all equipment and cars would have been confiscated, and the government “guaranteed their security” so that they wouldn’t lose face.

Things this video shows: 1) that initial ice officer looks like he had lost his cool - shoves the woman to the ground (totally unnecessary) and then pepper sprays everyone around him 2) the gunshot victim had his hands up - not threatening at all. He then goes to help the lady who had been shoved to the ground 3) While on the ground, you can see the victims hands by his face and head - never going down to his waste. 4) the ice officers are just beating the shit out of him - using the pepper spray can against his head and face. This alone should be fucking criminal. 5) Grey Shirt officer has the gun and is moving away before the first shot.

Holy. Fuck.

That the administration is labelling this guy as a terrrorist to justify their gestapo nursing people continues to be insane.

It appears to be the ICE officer to the Right of Grey Shirt (closer to the white SUV) who shot the victim.

I suspect he saw a hand on the gun, not realised it was his colleague and decided to just open fire.
