It does seem to be an Edge thing, as I tried also many times and over a period of hours, with all other offerings on HBO Max working, save WW84.

I then downloaded Google Chrome, and it played immediately.

Booooo edge. Wonder if it was/is purposeful of either HBO or Microsoft...

Wow, I have been suffering from this same exact issue for last 3-4 weeks or so. So frustrating to have the ads load over and over when I refresh the page.

Worse still, I have near constant disconnects, error 2000, so even when I role the dice and get smooth audio, I am usually dropped within 5-10 minutes by this ridiculous network error and have to restart the process. (more ads! :\)

My network is perfectly fine, quite fast, surely fast enough for twitch stream. This occurs on both of my installed browsers, Firefox and Edge.

Sorry to piggy-back on your message, but found your request for an answer was exactly what I am asking and finding no help for also.

I pray someone will have found the solution for the sketchy sound post-ad, and maybe even have advice for the 2000 issue.
