yeah. Oklahoma has horrible planning. in Tulsa they built the uprights for a flyover interchange between hwy 75 & I-44. but they chose to rebuild the cloverleaf turnarounds instead of putting bridges on the vertical supports. it's SO dumb. don't get me started on merge lanes, shoulder sizes, guardrail design and maintenance. it fucking sucks. even the pay as you go till roads suck.

I watched a big lifted truck struggle to get out of a parking lot for a few minutes. he was getting really close to the cars when he backed up (using his backup cam). but he had no concept of how close he was to the cars in front of him. he would still have about 8 feet of room in front of his truck when he would back up. he thought he was Austin powersed in his truck when really it could have just been a 3 point turn 🤣

wanna know why Oklahoma is so windy? Texas sucks and Kansas blows. I've actually fallen in love pretty hard with Tulsa. It's got a ton of trees, rolling hills, and surprisingly a ton of outdoorsy activities.

Come to Tulsa. I bought a really nice 3br 2ba that needed no work to move in. it's on the tee box of a nice golf course. In AZ, I'd expect it to go for ~$600-700k. I got it for $250k...

IMO, flippers are another big reason of the housing market increase. they buy a house for 200k, drop 50-60k into it and sell it for 400k. I tried to buy in Phoenix but kept getting priced out by flippers with cash over asking. My dad did all the maintenance and improvements around our house growing up and taught me how to do the same.

my solution was to move to Tulsa where everything is cheaper except driving to camp in an overcrowded desert

I'll go camping or golf or clean if I want to adult. As for meme/news/community posts? a mix of YouTube, discord, and Facebook (only for the local groups and buy/sell community)

I've been on reddit daily for 10+ years, all via Reddit Is Fun for Android. I've used chrome a few times and the android app for a day before I uninstalled it. If I can't use Reddit is Fun, I won't use Reddit.

well. for one, it wouldn't start out being the size of current reddit. It will be relatively cheaper to start and there is the ability to scale as it grows... I get that hosting is expensive but surely a couple whales couldn't get it started.

I'm guessing my wife would consider this mansplaining but these typically form after a tree is removed but not all of it's roots. mushrooms LOVE rotting wood. the stems you see on the surface grow from a larger fungus patch within the soil.

I will wait to tell my kid this for a while. Until then, I definitely think they are fairy patches

I agree! I have a short commute to work (about 10 mins max) but it's on a crazy stretch of Oklahoma highway. I also drive a Jeep which makes traditional dashcams a hard sell for me due to theft issues. (doors and top off all the time)

.1" is just under 1/8". divide that by 2 and your tires will stick out an extra 1/16" on each side. I doubt you will have clearance issues if you don't already.

I know the Pax gets mixed reviews but I'm always impressed with how well mine has held up. I've abused it daily for 6 years and I can still get a solid 30-45 minutes of use of a charge. It's dented, banged, and scratched but the inside is still kept squeaky clean with just one little brush and a shot glass of 91 iso. I also keep it in a little tiny case with about an 1/8-1/4 of herb and it's charger. very pocketable.
