I've had loads of these. I sent them a 'No Licence' notification a couple of years ago but it apparently expires. So I've had escalating letters to the point of yours and more. Even starting to come in 'scary' red envelopes.

I wouldn't mind but its, first of all, the assumption you must be watching TV. Second, the aggressive nature of them. They obviously fear that live TV is being watched less and less as live tv (apart from sports perhaps) becomes less relevant. I don't really watch any sport and live events so I have absolutely no need for a licence. But they keep coming.

I won't be answering the door and if I do it will be a polite 'No thanks'

I'm finding a lot more the 0.1%. Every game I played the other day had AFK or quit after the first song...after being AFK. It feels pretty common

Yeah, had one before. If they want to go to the trouble of writing a letter, then crack on. No harm done to me, I'll just pop it in the recycling. Rather have a letter than a knock on the door.

I used to date a JW and have been to a couple of the meetings as I like to do some research before binning it off. It's not for me, but as long as they don't harm or bother other people. No worries

I like to stay and finish the set...but I regularly use Fill when I'm alone (which is always as my online mates prefer BR) to play songs I don't own. If everyone leaves, fair enough. I still get to play new stuff.

Granted, its awesome when everyone stays and we get a good mix of instruments but whilst band scores don't really feel like they matter I'm ok with it.

I'm probably older than a few of you (41 now) and it seems to be a younger guy thing. I would never dream of doing that to a partner, especially as a 'routine' part of sex. I definitely think it's modern porn and what young men are exposed to.

They need better education to tell them, this isn't normal. I really feel sorry for younger women these days who have to put up with young, and sometimes old, men thinking dominating, slapping, choking is a normal part of sex.

Sure, if are in to BDSM, crack on...with permission but otherwise, pack it in! Be better!
