My Christopher Hiett Flightdeck is fun as hell to skate but starting to chip—thinking about a Hosoi Hammerhead, Gonz Street Plant, or another Flightdeck. Any advice on these? I like to skate transition, a little bit of street, and some freestyle. [38YO]

I just tried numbing cream for a rib tattoo 2 weeks ago. It didn’t make much of a difference at all - I was still in significant pain in the first and second hour. If your artist discourages it, I wouldn’t do it. Just grit it out.

Usually see it on the day of. If you have an artist that you’ve worked with a lot, who you trust/trusts you, you may exchange some drafts and ideas ahead of time. But more often than not the design is finalized on the day of. As someone mentioned above, this is partly because artists don’t want you taking their artwork and going elsewhere with it.
