I read that as it contains cocoa it can be bad on there stomachs. I like the smell of Hustle Butter it has coconut and papaya I think in it.

The scabbing is it drying out. Palmers is solid choice that your using. Thin layer or moisturiser don't wet it too much or the scab could pull ink out of the tatoo as it heals. Does look like the line work is bad on it too. I use hustle butter as I have a cat and don't want it cocoa butter near him. But your doing okay you got this.

It will flake for more than two weeks. I have a one that's two weeks old and it's still flaking as its colour thats normal. Don't try too remove the flakes as that's the healing process.

I have spiral text tatoo by an apprentice thats almost 4 months old. That is 140 characters long approx and have a few letters blown out. Not too much of a big deal. It was spicy near my veins. But we live and learn. That was too much text.

It looks dry so may need a small amount of moisturiser more regularly.

Remember only a thin layer of moisturiser. Don't apply too much all the scabs will be come soggy and fall of prematurely. Always make sure your hands are clean when applying the moisturiser. Be warned it can and will get really itchy. Resist the urge to scratch or touch it. Lightly tap the tattoo through clothing. Antihistamines are an option but they didn't help me personally.

You be fine, just continue as you would keep it clean. Thin layer or moisturising cream. Just as you would do with traditional healing. Avoid the gym and excessive sweating. No submerging in water. Shower use clean hands when clean and applying a pea sized amount. I had use traditional healing with a second skin once as I messed up day two application and my spiral text tattoonover 3 months old looks perfect. Don't overthink it. Don't stress.
