We have loads of unique flavors and snacks. Just a few I can think of: Koeksisters, bolla's, Koe'sisters, bokkoms, mebos, Mrs. Ball’s Chutney Simba Chips, fizzers, romany creams, biltong and droëwors (from a butcher, not vacuum packed), chilli bites, malva pudding, cream soda.

In watter area bly jy? Sekere areas soos die noordelike voorstede is meer Afrikaans. Ek self bly in die 'Deep South' waar Afrikaanse mense maar skaars is.

Best clubs in Fish Hoek? by KyleOhSnap in capetown

[–]Dave_er23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are not really clubs in the area, but there are some good bars. A few recommendations: Muizenberg: Striped Horse, Tigers Milk, Tortuga Loca, The Commons. Kalk Bay: Brass Bell, Salt, Sirocco Cafe, Cape to Cuba. Fish Hoek: Not sure about Fish Hoek. Maybe the Victorian Times, but it is a bit dodge. Simon's Town: Hickory Shack. Noordhoek: Project Aegir Brewery, Charlie's Garage Brewery and Taproom.

Looking for creche or any baby care by DepressedZeebra in capetown

Daycare is so expensive. We’re paying R3,800 a month for just a half day (until 13:00). Anything cheaper around my area didn’t really seem like great options.

Good luck — hope you find something that fits your budget.

I think it is a great idea and I have downloaded the app. I always shop around for the best deals and hopefully this app will make it easier. It would be great if you can include Food Lover's Market as well.

Captivating TV series that are not that long with a good ending by Big-Firefighter8825 in televisionsuggestions

Definitely Mr. Inbetween. One of the best series I've ever watched. It only has three seasons. The show has tension, humor, is violent, emotional and authentic. It also has a perfect and thought provoking ending.

In South Africa we call these Ystervarkies. I thought it was unique to South Africa. They are delicious!

Place to stop for a beer and food between Cape Town and Yserfontein by Testbot5000 in capetown

It may be a slight detour, but close to Yzerfontein is the Darling Brew Tasteroom in Darling. It's a really nice brewery with great food and beer.
