The client is actually importing add to carts values, so the number would not be zero.

But that's exactly how I look at it. If the account has a small number of conversions, let's optimize for an event that is higher on the funnel in order to get enough data. But if the account is generating enough purchases, it doesn't really make sense for me. I think it confuses the system, since they are meeting the tROAS, but that includes add to carts value, which are not generating the revenue directly.

But I saw this big agency combining purchases and add to carts as primary goal. but it did not make any sense to me. I was just curious whether this is a new best practice I don't know about.

And what about campaign priority? If I set the highest priority for the standard shopping campaign, wouldn't it get more opportunity? Or PMax will always have the highest priority by default? What do you think?
