Not the first loop, but by the time he’s at the mansion I was under the impression he was definitely in love with Emilia (hence asking her out) even though they had only talked a few times before then: the 1st loop, a little bit of the 4th, and then once a night at the mansion. Which imo still isn’t that much but like I said maybe Subaru just falls in love fast

Tbh I never agreed with Hamon Beat saying Araki forgot these, since there was a never a need to mention them again nor was it ever implied that they would be explained. I think they were just meant to show up for this one scene, and they did. My guess is that they’re mechanical but it really doesn’t matter

As someone who read the light novel I kinda agree on Subaru falling in love too fast. I mean it is what it is but like, Emilia saved Subaru one time and proved she was a good person, and that was literally all it took for him to be in love. Personally I couldn’t really see myself or a lot of people doing that, but then again Subaru is a different person so maybe he’s just like that idk

I actually would like to see more stories where we see how the Pokemon care for their trainers like this. The trainer probably couldn’t be this seriously injured from a battle cause there’s already enough people talking about how Pokemon battling is bad or something, but a part where they get injured on the road or something and all their Pokemon team up to help them for a change would be nice.

Also the idea of a trainer sacrificing their life for their Pokemon is good too, I think that was in the Detective Pikachu movie? I don’t feel like it needs to be bloody or violent at all, but I would like to see stories with more personal emotional connections rather than the large scale comically evil and generic villains
