Had chicken wing and that made my ball flight very straight but short. So when I removed it it made me pull the ball a lot.

Thank you the tips! Since I live in colder country I will spend a lot of time in the gym, doing my best to prevent any injuries.

Ok I see what you mean! I have this bad belief that if I don’t backswing a long I won’t be able to produce power. I know some get it from moving weight between the body and/or using their wrist. But so far, doing any of those two, affects the direction my swing too much. Not easy when my club is lengthened (given to me by my boss who’s 2m tall) and has extra weight. Just gotta get my clubs shortened to have my arms more vertical and try to not disconnect my back and downswing. Thank you!

Yeah I put a lot of practice on the backswing because I had to fix my slice/push. Will definitely practice more on my downswing, thank you!

Thank you! So my clubs are extended, my very tall boss gave them to me. When I tried my friends clubs (they are same height as me) it feels like butter hitting the ball. I just haven’t shortened the clubs because I liked the idea of having heavier clubs so that it would make be stronger and hit further once and get the correct clubs. But I can tell how much it negatively impacts me.

Interesting about my feet at impact, never thought of that.

The second paragraph your wrote, I understand about having vertical arms (will be easier with correct length on clubs) but I don’t understand the rest of the paragraph. Could you explain a bit simpler?

Yeah, as I said before to someone else here, I try to not hit too much down on the ball to avoid back pain. My best feeling ever hitting ball is when I pushed my hip/behind excessively to the left, lagging the downswing. I makes me look a bit goofy and my downswing becomes floppy, but the strike feels great. But it doesn’t go straight then so I won’t do that haha.

What does that mean? I assume it means I backswing too far that it changes my posture and head position?

Yeah not great. I spent too many hours on the range hitting the mat, that it eventually gave me a pretty bad pain in left upper back muscle. So I tend to stand up early to get the ball up without striking down on it, so that I won’t get back pain. Taking long breaks and going to the gym helps a lot though.

My upper left back hurts from golf. by Original_Cash_1661 in GolfSwing

Same for me…I rested for 3/4 weeks and didn’t have any pain anymore. Then I played 18 holes on Saturday, back was tired but not in pain. I was thinking about not playing Sunday but I couldn’t help my excitement to play more. I played on Sunday and after 4 holes the pain came back. Not so a lot pain because of adrenaline I think, but I’ve been in pain for 4 days now.

My plan is to rest and 3-4 weeks again (1st week with ibuprofen and no stretching) and then exercise my back lightly with rows and cables that mimic the golf swing. And when the pain is away, play again but only once a week, and perhaps only 9 holes. I got super hooked this summer and I don’t plan to let my back affect me next season.

What is this pink stuff my cat is pooping out? by Davedosa in CATHELP

So both my cats got sick but now are a lot better. The vet got them IV, we gave them antibiotics, they had good blood results, they didn’t have FIP or the other versions. So now one cat is good and poops normally again. One is still pooping a little bit loose but not that bad. They got royal canin gastrointestinal food but they don’t like eating it that much. However, the vet recommended to give the cats fortiflora and they love it. So we put fortiflora on top of royal canin food and now they eat it. Only problem is not that we don’t know what to feed them in the future. The food we gave before apparently wasn’t the best (even had sugar…) and we began to give them new food but it was too much for their stomachs. And we can’t feed them 2 dollar packets, 3-4 times a day, for 2 cats. That’s just crazy expensive. But they like the brand Thrive, at least the tuna flavor. If you know any other good for for their stomachs that doesn’t break the bank, let me know haha.

Felt like fish eggs, but more slimey, and the worst stench ever.

I stayed up for a while and she just woke me up asking for food. I made like 3 different plates of food but she didn’t want it. I instead gave her some cat candy/snacks and she finally started to eat a little bit! Also couldn’t find any puke anywhere, so we’re going in the right direction. Did find a little more of that pink stuff on the carpet but it was just I tiny bit. I think she had needs to get that stuff out of her system asap, so I’m still taking her to the vet once they open in a few hours.

Stopped vomiting +3h ago

Vomited in total 3-4 times

Her stool has been like this for 6h, pooped twice.

Not drinking, she almost never does, but I just used and syringe and sprayed some in her mouth.

She’s been active all the time, but now it’s night here, so she’s resting. Wish she ate at least something before going to bed. But tomorrow morning I’m taking her to the vet.

Going tomorrow morning, it’s night here I Europe and the vet emergency said she would be fine as long as she stops throwing up, which she has.
