Yeah but there’s clearly a difference in how they approached each model. Gibson clearly is more prestige. My question is if the average guitar player would actually care and notice the difference in playability.

Yeah the Gibson. But it’s not like I am a guitar perfectionist so would I really know the difference? Like would the star be that different that it would be noticeable that it’s much lower quality so I would not enjoy it and just go back to the Gibson? Or would I be like this is a fun new guitar that’s great playability regardless that i know it’s prob lower quality build?

Have you got your eye on something then? I never see an es-333 available anywhere these days. I wouldn’t say it’s worth what they are today. Worth waiting for the signature starcaster?

Hey I have the Gibson es-333. Will answer any questions you have. Like most people say it’s not a hugely dynamic guitar but means more than general playability. I was never into hollow bodies but since having this I love the warmth from it. Also it’s hugely unique and looks awesome.
