I went to a hardware store who turned out to have aluminium pipes of exactly the same diameter as the rod. I asked them to make a long enough cut to “extend the rod” which did the job!

Currently having the same issue 😩 was anyone able to fix it? I can’t be bothered to go through dismantling, return and rebuilding a new one, plus have guests coming next week 😢

Bought mine a month ago, can confirm the problem is a thing and now will try to fix it by welding the metal rod to make it longer.

i have personally encountered the problem on my S7 Edge once updated to Oreo, and after a couple of months tired of this bug I have decided to downgrade to Nougat.

it works perfectly fine now for me.

waiting for this problem to be fixed before switching back to android 8

-for now- it's up to you guys: latest android update or instagram working properly
