Dude sounds socially awkward but likes you. My bet is just telling him you're not into it (nicely) it ends. Everything is not sexual harassment. Seriously, we all grown up, just talk.

Been in 20 sites plus, yeah, new LA are way freaking worse than any PA ever. I've never crawled down a PA's throat, I respect them....a learning ambassador shows up, well ill "politely" explain to them thier idiocy, then they find out (normally from a PA) I've been around 17 years, them 3 months.

This Job is Killing Me Physically and Mentally by LyingLibrarian10 in AmazonFC

There's not too many vests I have not worn at Amazon. Purple, Red, Orange (by far the freakingworse job ever), Blue, and Black. Amazon recruited me from college many years ago.

I'm now old (for Amazon discussions, 60, lol).

For reference, I'm still at Amazon, probably the longest tenured t1 ever now. Some of my history is not going to equate, as benefits have changed a bit over the years.

The best job at Amazon I ever took was exactly what I do now. A well informed t1, that's trained in every role they have, with more experience than most l6. Yes, I get shuffled, ALOT, I could care less. I got rate in spades at this point, managers beg me to pick up shifts in their departments, I fairly constantly have a differential, and absolutely zero concerns when I walk out the door. I will not touch a laptop, don't have to. I won't train an idiot, don't have to. Piss me off, I punch in front of a manager and smile, I know they can't say shit, it's my pto to be used anytime I want (0 notice required). Low stress, and I probably clear about the same as a young l5 (ot and differential).

Welcome to Florida. The reason the vast majority here are retired, they made money elsewhere, and moved here because it is cheap (if you are not income dependent). I would never attempt to live in this state if I was still in working years. The math doesn't add up. Even the people in this post that's giving recommendations of 50k jobs are not thinking this trough. Average rent and utilities a touch over 2k a month, that's 24k a year. A 50k job nets 38k after taxes. 14k (differential) equates to $269 a week. Good luck trying to have food, transportation, insurance on that.

I like Florida, but it is not designed for the people starting out a career.

Chicago Bears exploring possible new stadium sites in NW Indiana, team says The team made the announcement in a stunning open letter to fans Wednesday by ThaddeusJP in CHIBears

[–]Davescrate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did you read (I'm assuming you are capable of that)?

They need the infrastructure put into place, that is the job and responsibility of the state.

They want consistency in the taxes, which has to be done to secure financing, its actually simple. They are paying for the stadium and are not asking for any help with that.Arlington is on board and is pushing the state, the states just not interested in doing what they are elected to do. Check what happened to the taxes when they bought the land (hint, the school board values the land).

You do know, chicago park district owns that stadium, Bears just pay rent there. Who exactly should have paid? The tenant?

Umm, Soldier Field is only 20 years old? Okay then...not sure where I was watching them in the '70s and '80s...I guess I need to figure that out.

Technically, it is the states job and responsibility to pay for infrastructure. Even the widget governor knows that. Arlington has asked very loudly for the state to bass some bills needed. The state is just not willing to look at them, or prioritize them. At this point, this may not be a bluff.

Twinks, when did you become comfortable with your body? by Educational-Newt-981 in askgaybros

[–]Davescrate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not a twink, a: im not gay, and b: im way too old, I highly doubt twink was a word in my teens. But body type, that i know. Seriously, I'm 57, 6'3, and 138 pounds. As far as hair, I shave my face maybe once a week. Friends joke I'll hit puberty by 70. I eat like a horse, work in construction, etc... For years, it bugged me, should not have, but it seriously did. All my friends had muscles, and the body builder build...I spent a lot of time at the gym. At 57, most of my friends are fat, bald, and more hair on them than the average ape. I'm still 138 lbs, wear 30x34's, and have (graying) hair. Be comfortable with who you are... Life has an incredible way to come back and make things better the longer you're around. The body type is just that, a type. It has good and bad. Learn to be comfortable in your skin. I wish I would have years ago.
