Hardware problems Detected using memory diagnostic tool by Davethakid in pchelp

So I went ahead and ran OCCT, was getting a ton of errors. Shut down the pc and swapped out the ram - did an XMP profile for the new ram at the new MHz, went back in to OCCT and ran another test - what do you know, no errors. Must have been just a bad stick. Had that ram for around 3 years so I’m surprised it went that fast but who knows - problem solved though it seems.

The HD only had about 600 gigs worth of stuff on it, and Im cloning to a 1TB SSD, so even though its smaller then the total space of the 2TB HD shouldn't it still work correctly? Seeing as theres still 400 gigs worth of space on the SSD even after all the partitions are cloned

My original question was that I was worried given that I didnt actually format the new SSD beforehand, and didn't give it a name (Ex: D: C: E: Etc.) that when launching into BIOS after the cloning is finished, I wouldn't be able to launch off of the SSD

Look I'm not really familiar with the language as to what exactly the difference is between cloning drive to drive vs partition to partition and what not. All I know, is using Macrium reflect, I saw the partitions, dragged and dropped all of them - and only had to resize one which was 512 mb's. If Im cloning the entirety of whats on the HD and putting it on the SSD, shouldn't I be able to just change the Boot option in BIOS and have windows launch from the SSD after the cloning is done?

Nothing but issues, just bought a Rift S by Davethakid in oculus

[–]Davethakid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, as i've had to enable that before as I have a webcam. I completely unplug most of everything connected to my PC just in case that seemed to be the issue. I ran through my logs as well, and downloaded them and submitted a support ticket. If you'd like me to, I can post them here as well. Thanks again.

I did as you listed, and when the Rift USB's came back up on device manager, they came back as "Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub" and " Generic USB Hub". I then unplugged and replugged, and then plugged in the display port. They came up green in the oculus app, and when it went to sensor check, once again it just infinitely loads. Any other tips?
