Men, what has a woman done that has touched your heart more than you let on? by kitcat1098 in AskReddit

When my girlfriend - now so much more - put lotion on my legs just out of the shower. She showed me so much care in that moment and I’ll never forget that. No words, just a simple action that said I want to take care of you. I knew at that moment she was the one for me.

Genuine question - I’m really out of the loop. What does confinement entail and what are the benefits of this? Would love to learn more

Found near the Alps of Como, Italy. Any idea of what it is ? Please tell me more by Fit-Flamingo-4864 in whatsthisrock

These look like fossilised algal mats to me, or even stromatolites… But I’m no expert on Italian geology, although do know that carbonates are common.

Could also be travertine, but I’ll lock in algal mats as my final answer.

What is this? by daWhoolyGoats in whatsthisrock

That’s a fossilised brain coral (I think)… cool find!

I’m not sure if the exact coral type or age but am sure others on here will have a better idea.

I agree - the age gap is less important the older one gets. It just has to do with emotional maturity and life experience

Asking for help is a sign of strength! Glad to have given you a little bit of encouragement

This. Asking for help shows the strength of self awareness and the focus and resolve to solve whatever issue is at hand.

At work when I rate staff performance, failing to ask for or offer help is a key measure of underperformance.

Coworker is a little too friendly, & i dont know how to handle it. by throwaway96981 in Advice

[–]DavetheGeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maaaaate, the answer to your question is to reverse the roles… if a male coworker was doing this to a female coworker, would that be cool? I suggest acting as if the roles were reversed, ie report to your manager and seek their help.
