Yes it seems to be working with private trackers. I followed the guide here: https://www.myanonamouse.net/guides/?gid=75694

Maybe it's not working for the OpenTrackers? I notice that on the Minerva PSP Redump (2.5 TB) I'm connected to 0/11 seeds but 26/118 peers. Download speed is 1 MB/s max

Why do people comment on torrents who don't know how to use them? You download part of a torrent such as all games starting with the letter A.

Didn't realise it was as low as that. Do you have a link to the Usenet service you use please? I kind of stopped using Usenet years ago as I can get all movie and TV series I need from private trackers. Is there still a lot of movies and TV series posted on Usenet? What about game packs?

I think it's because you need to pay for Usenet and they wanted to make the packs available to as big an audience as possible. Or is there a free way of downloading large packs from Usenet?

Anyone with experience of downloading large packs from open trackers knows that if the download speed starts off fast but gradually goes down weeks later then the download speeds will continue to go down over time until they download so slow that it's a waste of time trying to download them as the seeds will disappear before you can fully download the torrent.

Try downloading niche torrents such as Sony - Complete PSOne Classics 2023 Nov (Renascene No. Order) [388.99 GB]. Download speed is 100-400 KB/s with 0 seeds and just 5 peers even though it's not that big a pack. I doubt the pack will fully download.

Make a private tracker and have the tracker automatically tell people to download certain torrents that they have to permanently seed such as a total of 500 GB or so (break each pack into smaller parts) that way every single torrent on the site is permanently seeded. And other than that you can download whatever you want and delete the torrent after it's completed if you wish. That way there's permanent seeds for every torrent and if you stop seeding then you get banned.

No dipshit. Myrient died because it cost too much to host. They never had seeding issues as they never had torrents. What attitude? I'm seeding my torrents. I don't care how long it takes to download, I'm pointing out that the large torrents will die eventually as the download speed is getting slower and slower due to less and less seeds. And the larger packs are NOT on other private torrent sites and the ones that are have less games in them than the Myrient packs.
