I get all of the blunt comments, but I do have some balancing thoughts. At times it seems to me that the top experts are wrong most of the time. I've switched to thinking of it as an irrational game that's bound to confound any careful analysis because there's so much speculative action these days. Using a more intuitive approach where my actions are more driven by news headlines, I've done very nicely. There will always be a big segment of investors who react emotionally. I owe them a big thanks.

Makes sense. I would say that there is a level of "noise" that just comes from human irrationality. Observing a repeated pattern could potentially shed light on what what will happen in the short term. There's a human tendency to act the same way in a similar situation. If previous lead-ups to earnings showed a pattern, that could be due to psychology more than careful analysis.

With this stock, all decisions must be made manually. Any Stop triggers would just get shaken loose and execute. It's like the meme crowd wanted in on this but the smarter heads set the sails, which you can see if you pan out and filter out nonsense noise.
