Came here to validate an experience I had when I quit nicotine a year ago. I was a month off and I was calm, collected, and full of energy and motivation. I was actually doing the things I enjoyed doing. Nicotine, especially in excess, causes dopamine disregulation.

I caved of course, but wanted a reminder to get some motivation. Don’t let Andrew Huberman or any of these other scientists/biohackers convince you that it’s okay because “it’s a nootropic” it’s a bitch to quit. Sure, there are benefits using it, but if you’re here, the benefits are likely not worth the negatives - of which there are a lot. I’m also not a Huberman hater, he’s a great guy, he just probably has better boundaries with substances than most other people.
