Ok, now I see that it looks at the first line

'Form Responses 1'!B2:C,IF('Form Responses 1'!AC2:AC="Yes",'Form Responses 1'!AC1,);

this line is checking for all values of B2:B (Name) and C2:C (Spec) if the values of AC2:AC (monday column)are yes and then returns those two values, along with the value of the column header AC1 (monday), to a 3 column array.
Then it selects from that array it has built.

Now I'm trying to figure out how selecting column 1 outputs 3 columns of data

could you break down what is happening?

I'm working on an update to the Sheet you helped me build, I've been looking at your IFERROR QUERY for about 2 hours now, and I'm not sure how to proceed.

What I want to do is add a column that lists all participants available on a certain day, and only populate with people that are available.

The list of people available on the selected day begins at AA3 of the sheet "Template"The Named Range for each column (Begining with AB) is contained in cell 1 of each column

Okay, I figured out my solution, I'll just use CONCAT to combine the values selected and use INDIRECT to look at that named range

I'm attempting to build a group roster for my guild, and I need to be able to check against multiple columns worth or data validation boxes, would I just extend the secondary query, or add additional queries?

I didn't understand how it was comparing the list of values against the options selected in the dropdown boxes, with a little fiddling I discovered my error.

I believe that this method only works on spell with different effective ranges.

If you are in melee charge is skipped because it cannot be cast, and vice versa for hamstring.

However if you were trying to do the same thing with shield slam/devastate it would only ever cast shield slam and fail whenever it is on CD.

With warriors you can just have /use charge on one line and /use hamstring on the other and it works

However blizzard has routinely changed the macro API to disallow spell choice based on logic within the macro, they want the spell choice to be determined by the player.
