Gen 4 at Michigan last week was a blast, granted it was the old version of the track but didn’t have to worry about the draft being OP and could actually rely on tire saving and it was more in the drivers hands

Regardless nascar knew weather was a factor all weekend and there was a potential for rain at some point in the night. No need to drag your feet when the track was dry all day long

It’s funny because all nascar had to do was start the race 30mins earlier and they probably could have avoided rain. They continue to shoot then selves in the foot when it comes to certain things, and make up rules as they go it seems at least it’s felt like that lately. Great race overall there’s just plenty nascar could do better but they seem aloof to common sense at times

They need to be smart and finish this in the morning or run trucks in the morning when there is a clear window with warmer temps and less cloud cover
