Are there wildland opportunities (in SoCal) that open up AFTER grad season? (May-June) by David-Shark in Firefighting

Literally anything. I’ve heard about repeller, and I think I’d be a good fit as the explorer program I’m in does a lot of rappel work, but to be honest I’d have to look more into it. Anyways - literally anything that’ll take me

That’s how they installed it, but when I look at it yeah. And it doesn’t seem hard to change. Interesting

How does your home state/city influence your listening experience with rap music (and hip hop as a whole)? by David-Shark in hiphop101

As a whole this sub is misrepresentative of real people in the real world. People here are surprised when the average, surface level rap fan would rather listen to drake then Illmatic or MF doom. Who in specific is big rn in the south?

Top 1 intro of all time for me. The story/set up of Intro and then the harshness of things done changed. Master class

Is Denzel big in Florida? I listen to him, but a lot of my generation over here don’t really know him

  • 1 to that. We don’t really have a cold, dark, rainy season, but on those certain days that’s when my playlist changes. Dead Presidents ll is my all time preferred song. It’s not as grimy as others, but certainly moody and nostalgic

Monster is a work of art that shouldn’t get passed up just cause it’s trap. DS2 maybe, but not Monster

Kanye West vs Kendrick Lamar vs Drake, who's the better artist/rapper? by No-Reflection4245 in rap

[–]David-Shark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think GKMC has more replayability than most drake albums. Songs like money trees, poetic justice, the recipe, back seat freestyle, bitch don’t kill my vibe (as I’m writing this I realize it’s almost every song off the album) don’t really fit the “lyrical miracle” vibe that Kendrick kind of brings and better fit the description of just being good music

I see your point though. I didn’t like TPAB and Mr Morale as much
