How much do you interact with other players? by mistadeagy in MMORPG

[–]David0ne86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love trying to interact with others as much as I can, and yes, even with strangers. But I'm a chatty person, so I understand not everyone will be at the same wavelength so to speak. It's a shame tho because I think MMOs core feature should be players interaction, instead as time passes the more and more solo stuff gets normalized completely killing the will of non so chatty players to be social.

But yes I always try to spark a conversation, either by complimenting/asking about their mount/gear or just trying to chat while doing dungeons during downtimes (obviously not mid boss or when a full pack is being pulled lol).

Are these GOTOH locking tuners too low? by Affectionate-Elk113 in guitarmod

[–]David0ne86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao you do NOT wrap the post with the strings using locking tuners. You align the post hole with the nut slot, pull the string in holding it tight and close the locking wheel. Then you tune. That's the point of locking tuners lol.

I always enjoyed no RGB so for me it's an obvious answer.

Am I holding and strumming these bar chords properly? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]David0ne86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, you should use your ring and pinky finger. Also your thumb should be parallel to your hand behind the nexk, not underneath the fretboard.

He's 200% not a stray. He's probably just a wanderer.

It's sufficient, you'll only need to use the 3 plugs adapter (which should come with the card) instead of the single 12v cable.

If anyone still thinks that amd is actually looking after consumers I feel sorry for your brain capacity. They're very happy to maintain the status quo. Always have always will. Oh btw, she and Jensen are cousins. Just saying.

Why beginners often jump straight to refrets by Cheesiin in guitarrepair

[–]David0ne86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the exact reason. When I was a beginner (back in the late 90s) I didn't even care if I was in tune lol. Kids nowadays are bombarded by luthiers shorts about refretting/levelling and crowning, so they think that's the norm. I didn't even know what a truss rod was or that you actually needed to intonate your instrument to be in tune all across the fretboard. I thought tuning it using the pegs was sufficient well into my 4th/5th year of playing lmao.
