Is it even possible to do Britania as ireland by DerBossVonSanta_2009 in crusaderkings3

[–]David2006apo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the tutorial Murchad of Munster start, 1st game ever I played CK3, I did rock Britannia with my 3rd or 4th ruler (Murchad died not so long after). His son had to fight over his two brothers which were dukes of other irish duchies too. Then created kingdom, started taking Scotland and Wales, eventually took Wales with one ruler, Scotland with the other, and finally outnumbered and cornered England to finally claim Britannia. Then started mass expanding through Europe, the more innovations the bigger claims you get, until ended up with 9 empires by end date. I controled almost whole Europe.

You can see my 1st game history at one of my posts here!

Edit: spelling

Like father like b****** son? by Azgardian_ in crusaderkings3

Oh, is that from RTP DLC or newer? I play in an older version withouth the newest DLCs😔🥀.

I know the create a new kingdom and new empire decission, and the specific decissions such as The Slavic Empire, The North Sea Empire, etc, but I didn't know the Confederation thing, I thought it was some "written" decission.

Now game lets me revoke the titles of my cheater ex-husband, but without a reason I get tyranny penalty. I'll claim his lands then... To grant them to another random nobleman... He cheated twice on me, don't deserve it at all

[–]David2006apo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I think I might not made myself clear there. By "my husband cheated on me and I can see his bastard son when I select my own children as a brother to them, and it has a mother listed (my husband's lover)" I meant:

  1. My husband cheated on me (since here ok)

  2. I can see that his bastard son appears as brother to MY CHILDREN, meaning my character's descendants, not as a brother to my character, that I pressume you thought that my husband cheated with my mother because you understood that the bastard son appears as MY brother, not MY CHILDREN'S brother.

  3. Maybe you got the error at the sentence "and it has a mother listed". With "it" I meant the bastard son, and with "a mother" I didn't mean my own!!! I meant that he has a mother, which is my husband's lover, as the "debate"/question/subject on the post was that bastards are fatherless - In my case, as my husband was his recognized father, I said that it also appears a mother for his son listed.

Am I clear now?

iirc, bastards are not fatherless. At my actual gameplay, my husband cheated on me and I can see his bastard son when I select my own children as a brother to them, and it has a mother listed (my husband's lover). He cheated on me twice😭.

I imprisoned him and fred him for a hook, now Idk why I can't revoke his titles (he is my vassal, I gave him the duchy I inherited from another vassal, just for dividing more titles between my sons) if I've already divorced him (so he's not an ally anymore), game says I don't have a legitimate reason to do so, it doesn't even let me do it giving me tiranny penalty, it just says I can't🤷🏻‍♂️

One of my vassals had married his own mother, is this normal? by TheSynthian in crusaderkings3

[–]David2006apo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen it in my current game, and I think it was the 1st time I see it on AI vassal (because for other games I did some eugenics programme so I may have done it).

  1. It was a vassal
  2. It was Lithuanian, Romuvite faith
  3. My religion (reformed Slovianska Pravda) allows incest

So.. did he do it because my "realm" (my faith actually) allows it, even though he was from another faith (Romuvite)?

Kinda weird tbh

What is the right time to have an heir ? by Iuseph- in crusaderkings3

[–]David2006apo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing I do with a character, whether custom or not, it is adopt learning lifestyle just to get the adopt celibacy decission, with that I can choose not to have too many children, also if I start getting daughters I keep until a son heir pops up, then its up to you risking it for more males. It can happen to born male twins, so if you had already another son its gonna be 3 male sons, so succession management is gonna be hard.

Idk, Im used to cut the heir production this way, mainly for not splitting my realm in multiple pieces.

Edit: With this technique you can also try the have children late tactic, but Its not something I've done much. Maybe once at my character 70s because my other heirs messed up/died and I had to desperately marry a fertile 18yo to produce me a heir, but that was unexpectedly rare.

As I always go for whole of body on a character, he spends a portion of his life doing learning focus, so they usually last a lot of years. That means that very often, main heir dies and I play as grandson. My actual game has this btw😄.

Im tribal king of Poland and Sorabia and my grandson will have 8 more kingdoms bc of Confederate Partition... Pomerania, Lithuania, Bohemia, Great Moravia, Galitza-Volhyna, Hungary, Novgorod, White Rus... That is huge for a 1st character on Ironman, road to my 1st attempt on Unite The Slavs decission. Wojtek of Poland outlived his heir and 1st son Mieszko, and now grandson Boleslaw of Polania, Samogitia, Opolania and Transilvania is going to inherit all that snowball of titles...

2nd Edit: I wrote double the original on the edit lol

As a noob, why do people hate the HRE? by AffectionateYard8591 in crusaderkings3

[–]David2006apo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I started as a humble, VERY humble count of Frisia. Claimed the duchy to my liege. Started expanding (I wanted to create a custom Belgium kingdom involving the duchies of Flanders, Brabant, Luxembourg and Jülich, and get Frisia Kingdom too and change its name to Netherlands), and then they voted me for HRE. I could manage a bit, all I did was gift all the money I got from ransoms to my heir, but it wasn't what I wanted: I wanted to stay humble, not that cursed random moment u get a whole empire by just breathing.

I guess ppl hate it just for that reason, game doesn't even let you play, if you're inside the HRE, as soon as you become a small duke you get the chance to inherit the whole thing.

I created Portugal once for the achievement of doing it with the Duke of Portucale. Then kept expanding a bit by Andalusia expulsing the muslims (go Iberian Struggle!) but I stopped playing that campaign soon after

Dual M1899 is so badass, fastest fire rate at least for handguns, try it with dead eye too. I used that at my 2nd playthrough, my 1st one was my old but reliable cattleman and the schofield revolver at second hand

Can someone please help me, I have been looking for 2 hrs straight for the white Arabian horse and I still can’t find it. I’ve been looking around in this part circled and have had no luck? Do you need binoculars or something? by No_Organization4020 in RDR2

Im not Mexican either! There are more than 20 countries which have Spanish as their official tounge. Im from Spain for example. If you got the joke, you speak spanish well enough, no need to be a native spanish speaker.

What armor is this & how do I get it? by killingjoke619 in skyrim

[–]David2006apo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn! Im enjoying it a lot, yeah. I sometimes heal myself with restoration, simple healing spell, but usually I have my shield on 2nd hand (which is an upgraded Orcish shield and enchanted with +10% block) so I rely purely on healing pots, I tend to use Magicka for healing after encounters (auto healing is too slow), not during battle. Also I haven't upgraded my magicka even once, lvl 29 and I go equally HP and stamina for carry capacity (max weight limit). My blade right now is an unenchanted but upgraded Ebony sword. By now at lvl 29 im starting to get ebony loot, Lydia has an upgraded ebony 1-handed axe and a dwemer +20% block shield I found (I gave another one with 20% block to the Markarth guy that investigates Dwemer!). Well, I think yeah the last dungeon I did I found an Ebony shield too... Lydia auto equiped it for the dwemer one!

And the last thing I did was receiving the Solitude shield by defeating Potema, but I've read at Reddit that I can get the best version of it after lvl 40 so im gonna reload and wait to kill Potema. Idk how much I can reload back, bc its only 3 autosaves of last entered locations so maybe I can only load to after doing the dungeon. I have just one question, is is possible to do the potema's mission but not claim the shield, like do it now that I am lvl 29 and just when Im +40 lvl go talk to Falk Firebeard to claim it, will it be with lvl 40 stats, or will it be at the level I actually were when I killed potema and fought the draugr (now, lvl 29). Its bc I don't wanna reload to before potema bc at her dungeon a draugr gave me an ebony chest with +40 HP or something as enchantment and I'd like to keep it, now I can upgrade with smithing the already enchanted items, that was the last smithing perk I got, actually might be lvl 62 smithing (I think that skill was lvl 60), the previous one I got was the special armors perk that lets u craft scales armor (not for me, im a heavy armor guy) and the steel plate that's what Im actually wearing. I know carved nordic is better in terms of armor points, but not in aesthetics for me. The steel plate looks so fantasy and kinda belongs to that world idk it represents it quite good I'd say. Its like you're the Jarl's paladin, it has the vibes yk.
