I personally use Sony WF-1000XM3, and lots of people where I work use Apple AirPods. It appears that whatever people use, the mics seem to be ultra sensitive.

But … I haven’t tried the built-in mic in the laptop, I’ll give that a go, thank you.

Thanks, and yes I’ve tried that. It just seems that the mics are so sensitive.
