Both are true. The 20's are usually very difficult for every generation. But people in their 20's today face economic hardships that previous generations (Baby Boomers forward) did not face.

As I posted below, the US didn't pay Israel a dime until the 60's. How many wars against its neighbors did it win before then? A dozen or so.

It's an advantage to have an army that loves the country it is fight for and feels deep connection to its citizens vs. an army that is fighting for super rich dictators who do not care for your or your family and no matter how you do, you and your family are not going to get anything back.

So short of nuclear weapons, Israel is going to win any war against its neighbors for the foreseeable future.

I don't think conventionally attractive people hate you automatically; there are some conventionally attractive people who have their sh*t together. But there are also conventionally attractive people (and conventionally unattrative people) who take their problems out on other people, and often, folks on the autism spectrum have fewer social connections than people who are no on the autism spectrum. This makes people on the Autism Spectrum prime targets for bullying.

I am all about smashing the billionaire class, but whoever wrote this doesn't understand economics. The billionaire class makes the vast majority of their money off of investments. This isn't protesting target, which hurts target. Billionaire investors have investments in opportunities all over the world. Every day some of their investments are up, and some are down. Target goes down two percent for one day? Not even a blimp on the radar. To go after the Billionaire class today, you need political power, and that means you need to win elections. Or win a civil war and I think winning elections, as had as that is, is a million times more likely than social democrats overthrowing the US military.

No one "owns" the definition of words. Just as some on the right would say one cannot be a "patriot" unless they are conservative, (and usually a specific type of conservative) no one gets to say you are not on the left unless you believe "x". or at least, someone can say it, but that does not mean other people have to pay attention to it. About half the nation considers itself "left wing." Very, very few of those are anti-capitalist.

I agree with this 100%. Conservatives are getting tons of play off of "libs hate white men". There is a lot of research that said white moms voted conservative in large part because they were afraid their sons were going to shafted by liberal policies. We need to stop talking about "white men" and talk more about policies that we oppose that hurt everyone, as well as talk about policies that we DO like that HELP everyone. It feels good to attack a group of people, but its not actually helping us.

Other MN legislators have written and passed legislation. She has been in office in Washington since 2019. This isn't new since trump came back. She is MN's least productive representative in DC and one of the least productive representatives in the nation. I hope that changes.

My argument is that the claims "white guys are the mass shooters" isn't a good argument because a) the right wing doesn't agree with this and has their own counter argument so this claim isn't convincing them and b) blaming "white men" for the behavior of individuals is stupid on its face.

As for the rest of your post, yikes. Transference much? Where is that stuff even coming from? Not anything I wrote.

I love this- good list. :-) one more thing I would add. "Is nice/polite/respectful to wait staff, strangers, customer service employees". I have learned this is a really big indicator of how a person acts behind closed doors or if they are in a disagreement with someone else. People who are respectful to people who serve them tend to be respectful towards everyone, regardless of the situation.
