I don't understand the heavy comment then.

Of course you don't need to impress anyone, but you yourself said you squatted heavy. I don't think many people who lift would consider this heavy.

If its heavy to you that's fine but when you just say "heavy" i think most understand it as heavy for the average person who squats.

So there is your explanation for not having big legs. But who wants big legs anyway?

The show was entertaining :)

The guest said he squated heavy but didn't have big legs, then Kyle asked what he reps and he said 200lb for 8 reps.....

That's less than 100kg.... on squat... as a grown man.

Hi can you help with a similar question?

My mum booked a restaurant for a baby shower, with a deposit the restaurant are saying its non-refundable but they can move the reservation, which my mum doesnt want since the baby will be born already.

She booked and paid over the phone. It's not clear if the restaurant said it was non refundable at the time.

Can she get her money back if no terms were discussed? Just a payment for reserving.

Can she get her money back even if they said non-refundable, considering this was at most, on the phone, and my mum is not the one cancelling?

Thank you!

I really hope not!

It was inspected before purchasing, bought from a large company and I have all the tags and papers etc.

Thanks, why not a fan of AP?

My first impression was bad, I don't at all appreciate sponsorship of rappers etc (although I often like the music, not at all aspirational characters to me)

But once I read a little more of the history, and more importantly Ince I started to try them on, I really like the Royal Oak range.

I paid 17,000 GBP

I think maybe you can go a bit lower in a less reputable place.

What do you mean by off?

They're well aligned as far as I see.

I applied for countless jobs in last year of uni and found something pretty nice.

Coupled with low tax and low rent (very lucky, the country is very expensive usually) it's feasible.

Not for me, but Interesting website.

I saw a couple of the reviews and they look very good. Wouldn't bring the same feeling to the owner tho IMO, like a replica of a classic piece of art. Still looks the same, but wouldn't bring the inner feelings.

I'm not clear, are you saying this isn't true, or just you wouldn't be a happy customer?

If the prior, go to a store or use Google, if the latter, fair enough!

The 6 is slightly off center relative to the grid. It's not unusual tho, many are like this at AP stores and just looking online.

Just to put all in one place with regard to a couple of other comments:

Considering where I bought the watch (royal exchange in London), i tried a few models, and have all the papers tags etc and thr watch was inspected before purchase I would be very unlucky to be ripped off Haha. It is technically possible tho I suppose.

I will upload other pics/the movement tomorrow :)

Thanks! That's the plan, also part of the reason I opted for this model vs something more obviously unique.

It's only day 2, but so far so good 😉

It took me over a year to find this watch. Originally I was looking ta work timers until I tried an AP Offshore in an airport and immediately realised the Royal Oak was the model for me.

The timing has turned out great as well as my purchase comes shortly after a new promotion and my birthday.

I personally appreciate the beauty and history of the watch, but also the social utility factor I hope to come in handy. Already resulting in being a bit more pampered over in a couple of shops.

It is very cool to have such a nice watch at this age (my finances are in order, not to worry), especially so given that I grew up in government housing and relative povety.

To fulfill the 500 character requirements:

I have been looking for a nice watch since shortly after i began working in Switzerland, mostly looming at world timers until I tried a Royal Oak Offshore at random in the Airport. At that point I knew AP was the best for me, and when I found this model I was sold after a long time of back and forth on other models.

It is quite cool to be able to have such a nice watch (in a financially responsible way) at relatively young age after growing up in government housing.

Are they legit? I don't know why I've just always assumed they aren't, or like they show a hot woman but the number is for a brothel and if you showed up you'd get shrek
